Providence coach goes on mid-game vampire rant  2 Months ago

Source:   USA Today

Providence basketball coach Ed Cooley was mic'd up for his team's 71-64 road win over DePaul on Friday, and the highlights of his best comments were something else.

His best moment of the game came when Friars sophomore guard Alpha Diallo began bleeding after a play when no foul was called, leading to a rant about him not bleeding for no reason, "unless he's a vampire."

"You don't bleed on purpose! You don't just start bleeding, unless he's a vampire! … We got vampires back in here. Watch out for Dracula! … All the vampires are out! Blood everywhere."

Providence is 12-6 overall and 3-2 in the Big East.
